Our Engagement
Josh took Katie out to dinner on Cinco de Mayo to The Beach House on Bradenton Beach. After dinner, they went and sat on the beach to watch the sunset. Josh told Katie that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He asked Katie if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him, to which she replied, "Of course!" Josh then told Katie he had a confession to make. He did not go home to his grandmother's birthday party, but instead had gone to her parents' house to ask permission to marry her. Josh pulled a box out of his pocket and began to get down on one knee. At this point, Katie began to cry. Josh opened the box and asked "Will you marry me?" Katie hugged him and cried and finally was able to say "Yes!" After that, they watched the rest of the sun set into the ocean.
